Matthew Prinzing is a Peabody AND Emmy Award-winning documentary editor with more than 25 years of experience shaping compelling nonfiction stories for film and television. His credits include the HBO series "Celtics City", for which he received a Sports Emmy Award for Outstanding Editing, as well as "The Gates", the HBO documentary about artists Christo and Jeanne-Claude’s public art installation in Central Park. HIS WORK ALSO INCLUDES "Abstract: The Art of Design", “MARS", and numerous other acclaimed documentary films and series.
Beginning his career working with acclaimed documentary filmmaker Albert Maysles, Prinzing edited projects FOR HIM including "The Gates", AS WELL AS THE IFC SERIES "With the Filmmaker: Portraits BY Albert Maysles", and John Zorn’s "Masada: Live at Tonic 1999".
